I was born in South Africa in 1957. I studied Graphic Fine Art at the Pretoria Arts School, majoring in painting, etching, lithograph and other printing techniques. I am an impressionist/realist artist who paints primarily with oil on canvas, using a rich color palette and linear movement, with various subject matter. While working as an artist in South Africa, I was commissioned to paint portraits of President Nelson Mandela, King Maswati of Swaziland and many other prominent South Africans. My work has been featured in art galleries in South Africa and the United States, and more recently in Portland Oregon and Coeur d’Alene Idaho.
